What is Person Centred Counselling?

Person Centred Counselling is a talking therapy that can be long or short term, with sessions lasting one hour. As your counsellor, I offer a confidential space in which I will listen to you with respect, authenticity and without judgement. I understand that you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to help you unpick your story and guide you gently through your healing process.

This Month’s Health Tip

A Simple Yet Powerful Exercise to Help Nurture a Healthier and Happier Mind

1. Take a moment to notice your breath for just 10 seconds.

2. Tune into the rhythm of your heart for the next 10 seconds.

3. Feel the connection to your feet for another 10 seconds.

Try to weave this practice into your day whenever it comes to mind. A gentle reminder can be every time you touch a door handle. The more you practise this exercise, the more natural it will feel and you'll begin to experience the benefits of a calmer mind.
